14 Savvy Ways To Spend Extra Robot Vacuum Deals Budget

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, while not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. These machines are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still a great choice if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vacuums often fail. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and modify your home map or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed emptying the bin can be done with relative ease. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the most innovative in the market however it's quite expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does a really good job of collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.

If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of creating robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to setup by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through the steps needed to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, and features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started.  check these guys out , and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from other models. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.

The elegant G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
